G.R. Herberger College Curriculum Committee (CCC) meeting minutes for 3/4/2009

Meeting started at 12:15pm. Room CH. 408

• In attendance: Yoshimoto, DeJong, Li, C. Gaumnitz
• Motion to approve minutes of the February 11, 2009 meeting by DeJong, second by Gaumnitz – approved.
• Proposals:

Temporary workshop for Management

     Strategies for Sustainability

Committee concerns: 38 hours sufficient for 3 credits, wording on student learning outcomes, graduate credit is base on reviewing 3 additional articles, and graduate Dean’s signature.

Will send back to originator.

• New Business:

UCC suggests that it wants the CCC rep name for Fall 2009.

UDWR: assessment committee approved 7 of 9 major programs and will be submitting program change proposals.

Motion to cleanup ‘50% rule notation on COB catalog copy by Gaumnitz, second by DeJong – approved.
