Minutes for Wednesday, March 25, 2009, A115, 12noon

Present:  Jan Frank (TDEV), Karen Thompson (HURL), Christine Imbra (CEEP), Luther Rotto (CIM), Ming-Chi Own (CFS), Terri Sheehan (HPERSS); Absent:  Kathy Johnson (SPED), Avelino Mills-Novoa (ELCP)

1. Approve agenda for March 25, 2009

Rotto/Sheehan – motion passed

2. Revisit tabled EDAD Program Changes with Course Proposals (Guest:  Kay Worner)

Motion to accept PC in Community Ed Licensure (New Course increasing EDAD 507 to 4cr already at UCC) – increasing credits to24 with increase of EDAD 507 to 4cr and addition of EDAD 611 (1cr) as requirement (Sheehan/Rotto – passed)—before being forwarded the proposed bulletin description to be revised to include list of courses and need to have answer regarding resource question for UCC

Motion to accept PC for Principal/Superintendent  - drop EDAD 642 and 645, NC of EDAD 646; PC with new bulletin description for elective courses (Sheehan/Rotto – passed)—a couple editorial changes made to NC and suggestions regarding future revisions to bulletin description; signature from Grad Dean required before PC proposal will be forwarded
