1. Call to order at 3:20 p.m.

Motion to approve Executive Committee minutes of April 17, 2001 (Peterson/Kalia

Motion to bring to Faculty Senate the name of the clear winner in the IFO election [Judy   Foster] and to have an election for the second IFO member among the three remaining candidates as soon as possible

a. Executive Session:  personnel and staffing

Motion to hire Sunshine Shaney at 25 hours a week for 48 weeks with the idea to negotiate hours in one year. (Kilborn/Fisher) passed

Motion to leave Executive Session and report the motion (Kalia/Mork) passed

c. Nursing Program

 Motion to approve Ralph Carr's "Dialogue about the Nursing Program" as
                        amended and send it to the Office of Academic Affairs asking for a written
                        response to circulate to the faculty (Kilborn/Kalia) passed.
 
                        e.      FA Elections
          Motion to bring to Faculty Senate the name of the clear winner in the IFO election [Judy
Foster] and to have an election for the second IFO member among the three remaining     candidates as soon as possible (Fisher/Kilborn) passed
 
Motion to attach the IFO Support Statement to the FAEC minutes of April 17, 2001   (Kilborn/Larkin) passed.
 
 Motion to amend the IFO Support Statement to delete the sentence referring
                        to MOAs and LOUs (Fisher/Peterson) passed.
 
                     Motion to thank Judy Foster for the tremendous amount of work she has done 

and for her leadership (Fisher/all) passed unanimously.
