Motion to send a memo to Ruth Meyer (copy to Roy Saigo) requesting a final report from the Ad Hoc Committee on Article 25 process. We further request a meeting with AVP Meyer, President Saigo and the deans on the issue of moving Article 22/25 towards an evaluation/review system that is contractual. The EC also authorizes an FA grievance if the meeting does not take place and the issue is not resolved. (Kilborn/Schoenberger) passed unanimously
b. Academic Misconduct Procedure
Motion to send a memo to Ruth Meyer (copy to Roy Saigo) requesting the deletion of any references to Academic Misconduct from a faculty member’s Article 25 evaluation because this violates the Academic Misconduct Policy. If not removed, then Executive Committee authorizes a Faculty Association grievance on this issue. The EC recognizes the need for further discussion on the topic of the Academic Misconduct Procedure. (Foster/Schoenberger) passed unanimously
c. Search Process Committee
Motion that Theresia Fisher, Andrew Larkin and Annette Schoenberger represent the Executive Committee on the joint committee concerning searches and that President Fisher be powered to contact the members of the Affirmative Action committee asking them to serve on this committee and if they don’t want to be involved then to ask for up to 3 additional Faculty volunteers with a deadline and election to determine the final composition of the committee (Foster/Kilborn) passed
d. Fixed Term Subcommittee
Motion to create a subcommittee of six representing the five CORE areas and Racial Issues consisting predominantly of probationary and tenured faculty with fixed term representation (Kilborn/Schoenberger) passed

Motion to cancel the website account with Cloudnet (Schoenberger/Larkin) passed
