Motion to make an oral report at the next Faculty Senate meeting (Foster/Johnson) passed

Motion to amend the previous motion and insert the word “oral”. (Peterson/Schoenberger) passed

a.        Strategic Planning

Motion to recommend that the Strategic Planning Committee prioritize among the goals and develop a process of coordination, consultation and accountability with the Administration regarding the implementation of the plan and that the proposal and any priorities discussed be brought to the Senate for approval and to Meet and Confer. (Foster/Kilborn) passed

Motion to amend the previous motion to  include that faculty representatives on the Strategic Planning Committee come to Faculty Senate to solicit recommendations for prioritizing strategic planning goals (Johnson/Schoenberger) passed

Motion that Executive Committee recommends that another election be held by the Strategic Planning Committee for its chair for the year and further recommend consideration by the committee of electing a chair-elect or making a decision regarding the chairs term (Foster/Kilborn) passed

Motion to request that President Fisher bring to Meet and Confer whether or not this is an ongoing concern and ask if President Saigo is committed (McKenna/Schoenberger)
