a. Article 22 status—Jaede spoke to the item and the discussion during Meet and Confer. Jaede will send out his report on the process but Administration did not have the same thoughts so it will come just from the FA, not Administration. The President felt it was a disagreement between faculty, not deans and faculty. There was discussion. It was suggested that this go to Delegate Assembly as a resolution this spring. Jaede encouraged Senators to send any and all resolutions to the FA.

b.  H1N1 preparations—two members have volunteered for the task force. We need one more volunteer.

c.  Strategic Program Appraisal – time definite 4:45p.m. – Provost visit—an open forum is scheduled this Thursday in the theater in Atwood. The Provost and Lisa Foss will attend like they did for the last forum. Provost Malhotra and Lisa Foss arrived early at 4:05 p.m., since Senate was finished with their business early. Provost Malhotra was introduced and he spoke to Senate. After the introduction, the Provost and Lisa Foss spoke about the Strategic Program Appraisal. There was a question and answer session between the Faculty Senators and the Provost and Lisa Foss. Jaede thanked the guests for coming.

d.  St. Cloud Human Rights Office—Jaede gave the resolution to the City and Council and Mayor. No final decision until December.

e. Election results for IFO Board of Directors—Susan Motin was elected to the IFO Board.

Jaede informed Senate that the Strategic Planning Co-chair was removed from the agenda because the co-chair is appointed by the committee, which is a resolution that was passed by Senate.
