Discuss

Brainstormed items for Fall 2010 agenda:

a)        Reestablish our role as a policy making committee and our relationship with UCC

b)       Operationally define “experiences” and provide forms for applicants

c)       Propose the fate of goal 11

d)       Possibly look again at PESS 122 and other University Requirements

e)       Convocation session with advising center to help faculty understand where we are with the Liberal Education Program, and help faculty advise students during this transition

Discuss

Discussed procedure for contacting the FA president concerning non-participants on faculty committees. Faculty committees should have adequate representation, and that is not possible when elected members do not attend meetings or participate in committee business.  Those members should be replaced.
