Motion to change wording on choice of electives : “course not recommended for MBA for courses numbered 400/500 at department’s discretion” by Gaumnitz, second by Li – approved
Suggested wording:
From “A student completing the MBA program without an official concentration must take a minimum of six credit from 500-level courses approved by the MBA Advisor. MBA 605 may be repeated up to six credits providing the topics are different. Students electing to complete an official MBA concentration are required to take a minimum of nine elective credits of which three credits are from a 600-level required course in the concentration’s discipline. All electives require MBA Advisor approval.”

Comment to MBA Task Force: spell out terms of MBA degree on advising sheets – list all courses for electives and that the student meets with advisor prior to scheduling.
