Discussion:
General Education Curriculum:
A discussion of the General Education curriculum followed. There were more concerns expressed about the process that will follow after adoption of the new General Education curriculum.
How do courses qualify for general education?
What forms will be used?
Learning outcomes seem to be excessive.
A discussion about e-mail correspondence from Jean Hoff to the Chair of the CCC committee (Glade) followed. The question concerned what response the CCC should adopt to e-mail from Jean Hoff.
Motion to do nothing and not respond to Jean Hoff’s e-mail was introduced. (Wall)
Motion was seconded.
Motion passed unanimously (by popular acclamation).
Geography Course Proposals
A discussion of the Geography course proposals followed.
David Wall gave a short presentation about the Geography course proposals.
Meeting time expired and the Geography proposals were tabled until the next meeting.
