DISCUSSION: 1) Question of possible overlap with ETHS 310 resolved. 2) various minor editorial changes to course description, etc. 3) Discussed resource issue (funding by AIC). 4) Discussed ambiguity in the variable credit designation. Three options suggested: move the passage marked by an asterisk to item #14, eliminate the asterisked statement altogether, or have Darlene St. Clair explain to committee. 5) Ask Darlene whether the word "American" should perhaps be in course title.
Discussion ended with friendly amendment to the motion to approve the proposal subject to Darlene St. Clair clarifying the variable credit requirement to Lake, who will inform committee. |
