Professor Gretchen Tiberghien has been named the Director of the Honors Program for the next three years.  She will begin her duties as the director this fall.  Dr. Tiberghien is an Associate Professor of Mass Communication and has been at SCSU since 1987.  Professor Tiberghien received her BA in Speech, Theater, and English Literature from the College of St. Catherine, and her MS in Rhetorical Theory and Communications from Kansas State University at Pittsburg, KS.  Gretchen has held positions as the director of dramatic arts, and Director of Public Relations for the Garden City, KS Public Schools, and as a public relations consultant for numerous organizations.
