The search committee for the
Director of the Division of General Studies (DGS) is now requesting applications
for that position. It is a half-time director, half-time teaching position with
30 extra duty days. The appointment is for three years and is renewable.
Applicants must presently be full-time tenure track or tenured faculty at SCSU
and have experience working with first-year students, preferably experience
working with the DGS program or with developmental education at the university
level. I am attaching the Notice of Vacancy which describes the responsibilities
