Associate Vice President for Academic
Affairs--Curriculum

Applications and nominations are now being accepted for
the position of Associate Vice President for Academic
Affairs—Curriculum.
The
Position:
Provide leadership, supervision and
organization in all areas of the curriculum and academic programs and
policies. Serve as internal expert in matters relating to SCSU, MnSCU and
Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association (NCA) policies
and procedures as they relate to curriculum and academic policies. Manage
the pertinent approval processes with MnSCU and the HLC. Coordinate the
university’s accreditation and program review processes, adjudicate student
academic appeals and issues, and oversee preparation of the Undergraduate Bulletin. The
Associate Vice President provides primary support to the Provost and Vice
President for Academic Affairs and takes full responsibility for all areas
delegated by him/her, including acting in his/her stead when
appropriate.
This is a full-time, three-year renewable
position.
Required
Qualifications:
Terminal degree, knowledge of curriculum approval
process and academic policy matters, effective communication and interpersonal
skills.
